Sarah grew up in East London, the youngest of three sisters. She understood early on, that life must be lived fully, freely and uniquely. Sarah's father died when she was 15 which had a lasting impact on her views of the world. This resulting 'zest for life' has driven her throughout her life; as has a sense of responsibility and duty to others.
Sarah's experiences in life give her an unswerving belief in the potential of people to be more than they sometimes believe.
Sarah has
worked in many different organisations from the small independent to the global. She has adapted to different cultures from the heavily masculine and unionised to the informal and unstructured. She has been involved with success as well as failure.
Sarah is an highly driven informal learner. She studied psychology and philosophy at Birkbeck in London. She has strong associations with the RSA, the events industries, marketing associations and arts groups.
Sarah champions a more
open attitude to intelligence and sees current educational systems as needing to focus more on an individual's creativity rather than the 'teaching to the test' philosophy which currently prevails.
